Jamil Dib: Vida & Estilo Hospitality Group started on Espanola Way, back in 1997. Our mission is to create welcoming, innovative dining spaces where guests can enjoy exceptional food and service. We envision our restaurants as community hubs, where people come together to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories.

Superior Seating: How many restaurant locations do you currently have, and where are they located?

Jamil Dib: We currently have 27 operating restaurants with different brands and cuisisines, including; Cortadito Coffee House, Mercato Della Pescheria, Cafe Americano and others. Our restaurants are located in vibrant cities such as Miami and Las Vegas, catering to diverse audiences and culinary tastes.

SS: Could you provide an overview of your various restaurant locations and their unique characteristics?

Our restaurant portfolio includes the lively Mercato della Pescheria on Española Way in Miami, the cozy Cortadito Coffee House, and the chic Café Americano on Collins Ave. We also operate OSTERIA DEL MAR within the Beacon Hotel in South Beach, each offering distinct dining experiences tailored to their respective neighborhoods. SS: How do you ensure consistency and quality across all your locations?

JD: Consistency and quality are at the core of our operations. We achieve this through rigorous training, regular quality checks, and a strong emphasis on maintaining our brand standards. Our partnerships, like the one with Superior Seating, also play a crucial role in ensuring that our design and aesthetic goals are met consistently across all locations.

SS: What is the overall design philosophy for your restaurants and how do you create a unique vibe for each location while maintaining a cohesive brand identity?

JD: Our design philosophy centers around creating inviting, comfortable spaces that enhance the dining experience. We aim to blend functionality with aesthetic appeal, ensuring that each restaurant offers a unique yet cohesive brand identity. We start by understanding the local culture and preferences of our target audience. This insight helps us craft a design that resonates with the community while aligning with our overarching brand identity. We use consistent elements like color schemes, furniture styles, and decor themes to tie everything together.

SS: Which of your restaurant locations have you collaborated with Superior Seating on, and how did their furniture align with your design goals?

JD: We have collaborated with Superior Seating on several of our locations, including Mercato della Pescheria, Cortadito Coffee House, Café Americano, and the Beacon Hotel Restaurant. Superior Seating's furniture perfectly complements our design philosophy. Their pieces are not only stylish and durable but also versatile enough to suit the unique themes of our different locations. The custom fabrics, finishes, and sizes offered throughout your entire product line allows us to get the exact colors, sixes, and material finishes we need for a cohesive experience in our restaurants. Additionally, the attention to detail and quality craftsmanship in your furniture have helped us create spaces that are both beautiful and functional for years to come.

SS: Were there specific pieces or collections from Superior Seating that stood out to you? Why?

JD: Absolutely. For example, at Mercato della Pescheria, the Elio Round Back Aluminum Stackable Banquet Chair added a touch of elegance while being practical for our high-traffic areas. At Café Americano, the Outdoor Lovechair with Tan Seat and Back provided the perfect blend of comfort and style for our patio area. Each piece we selected played a key role in enhancing the overall ambiance of our restaurants.

SS: Can you walk us through the process of selecting furniture for your restaurants and what key factors you considered?

JD: The selection process begins with understanding the specific needs and theme of each restaurant. We then collaborate closely with Superior Seating to choose pieces that align with our vision. Factors such as aesthetic appeal, durability, comfort, and functionality are paramount in our decision-making process. Superior Seating's diverse range of products and customization options allowed us to address specific challenges, such as creating a cohesive look across different dining areas and ensuring the furniture met our durability standards. Your team was highly responsive and provided valuable insights that helped us make informed decisions.

SS: Have you received any feedback from customers regarding the furniture and its impact on their experience?

JD: Yes, we've received numerous positive comments from our customers. Many have complimented the comfort and style of the furniture, noting how it enhances their overall dining experience. The feedback reinforces our belief that well-chosen furniture significantly contributes to the ambiance and functionality of our spaces.

SS: How do you feel the furniture enhances the ambiance and functionality of your spaces?

JD: The right furniture not only enhances the visual appeal of our restaurants but also improves the overall guest experience. Comfortable seating encourages guests to relax and stay longer, while functional design elements ensure a smooth flow and efficient use of space. Superior Seating's furniture has been instrumental in helping us achieve these goals.

At Vida & Estilo Hospitality Group, our collaboration with Superior Seating has been a key factor in creating memorable dining experiences across our various locations. By blending style, comfort, and functionality, we've been able to craft spaces that resonate with our guests and reflect our commitment to excellence.
